WORKSHOPS

A selection of our workshops during the last five years.
We have offered several painting workshops by Angeline Lips and Willemijn Bouman, they focussed especially on the "ins and outs" of landscape painting.
Together with their participants they have worked at various inspiring locations they have chosen to work either on a special theme or focussed on a certain topic.

During the cooking workshops by Nicole Heller our participants have met the traditional Turkish kitchen at a very hospital Turkish family restaurant, who grow their own vegetable and herbs in their kitchen garden. The master cook of restaurant Bodamya, a beautiful location in the mountains, has teached them the tricks of the sophisticated Turkish kitchen.
Nicole Heller has functioned as a translator and narrator, she inspired her participants with all kinds of information next to cooking also about typical Turkish habits and customs of the countryside, the history of the Lycian civilization , etc.

Valentine van Herpen has opened her ceramic studio for everyone who liked to work with clay. Advanced and beginners could work at special ceramic projects, or choose to paint ceramic sculptures or functional sets.
Especially for a Dutch ceramic artist/teacher and her students we have organised an unique ceramic workshop at an outdoor and authentic location in Kalkan bay, near the sea.
